Male Named In Second Degree Murder Of Kitchener Man

Waterloo Region, Ontario –  Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a 22-year-old Kitchener man in connection to the death of Ronald Chandler.

Ronald Chandler, 66, was found deceased inside his residence, located at 926 Courtland Avenue East in Kitchener, at approximately 8:45 p.m. on June 18, 2018.

The cause of death was determined to be stab wounds.

On Friday, August 24, 2018, members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Major Crime Unit arrested Jeremy Peter Winnan, 22, from Kitchener.

He has been charged with one count of second degree murder, one count of Indignity to a Dead Body and Breach Probation.
